In 1997 and 1998 she hosted The Alma Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve '98, the 1998 World Music Awards, the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards, and the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe pageants. She has been a spokesmodel for Revlon, American Express, Pantene, M&M's, and Miller Lite. Daisy also played on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home games for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital charity. She was married once, and is now engaged to the lead singer of LoneStar. Fuentes had appearences on shows such as Dream On, The Larry Sanders Show, and Cybill. During 1994 to 1995, Daisy was the host of her own talk show, called Daisy, on CNBC. She majored in communitcations and made it big on T.V. MTV took notice of the 19-year-old and snatched her up as host of MTV Internacional, which later became MTV Latino. She quickly moved up the ranks, eventually becoming news anchor and reporter for the evening news. Daisy Fuentes was born in Cuba but moved to Madrid, Spain when she was three years old. She began to develop acting credits and gained a role on the ABC soap opera, Loving. Many people recongize her from AFHV (Americas Funniest Home Vidoes).
