Melanie Sykes (born 7 August 1971 in Mossley, UK) is a British television presenter and actress.
She has also hosted a variety of awards shows, including Miss World, the BAFTA's and the Q Awards, has presented her own radio show on Galaxy and recently hosting prime time Saturday night on ITV with "Under Pressure" and the "Vault"
She first came to public attention as the bikini-clad girl in the Boddingtons Beer adverts with the broad Northern accent.
She is the host of Today with Des and Mel (with Des O'Connor), Celebrities Under Pressure and The Vault.
